Banyan Tree Construction is run by the Strong family—

Florida natives with deep ties to and based in Sarasota, Florida.

Richard Strong has been involved in the construction and real estate industries since 1973 having been a Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker and an experienced real estate developer. He is a Florida State Certified General Contractor, a Florida State Certified Pool Contractor, as well as a building and project designer, interior designer, graphic designer, and constructability/design consultant to architects. Richard is a graduate of the University of South Florida and holds an M.F.A. from Lesley University College of Art and Design.

Benjamin I. Strong has been involved in the construction and real estate industries since 1992, and has managed large and medium sized agricultural corporations. Mr. Strong is also a Florida State Certified General Contractor. He is an experienced landscape designer and real estate developer and is the president of Banyan Tree’s preferred landscaping partners, Botanics.
